Lecturing at the University of Gdansk
euro communication member Sylvie L. Roos gave a lecture on Theories of Interpreting as an introduction to the new interpreting course.
The lecture titled "FROM THE WHY TO THE HOW - FROM THE HISTORY OF A PROFESSION TO THE THEORY OF A PRACTICE" was the second of a set of two interpreting lectures. Apart from the lecture itself, Sylvie L. Roos also provided a number of related interpreting classes
The new EU supported course in conference interpreting is taught for the first time in the Department of Applied Linguistics at Gdansk University in the academic year 2010-11.
